Money makes the World go Round - How Capitalism can support Gender Equality
Did you know that the landscape for women in business, especially within publicly listed companies and the fintech sector, is both changing and challenging?
Nearly 40% of companies listed on Germany's major stock indices—DAX40, MDAX, and SDAX—lack even a single female executive board member. Moreover, only 4% are led by a female CEO.
The entrepreneurship sphere shows similar disparities, with female founders representing only 20% of the total, and within the fintech industry, this figure drops to just 7%.
So we're thrilled to invite you to a thought-provoking panel discussion to delve deeper into these critical issues, featuring Marie-Christine Döscher, Chief Investigator at PwC for #MeToo incidents and a former public prosecutor, Dr. Katharina Seiler, the innovator behind the Women for Women Fund at DWS and Fabienne Lindner, expert for Female Finance at Deutsche Börse. Moderated by Diane Siegloch, Managing Director at Sinpex and a prominent ambassador for FinTech Ladies Frankfurt, the event promises insightful exploration into the root causes of gender imbalances in the corporate world and, crucially, will propose concrete steps toward equitable solutions.
