We're back for Just Checking In Live #4 at The Birds in north-east London! 

Joining us for this edition will be disco, funk and soul artist AMiR and DJs Sirkett & Leroy Select. 

AMiR and Sirkett have also both been guests on The Just Checking In Podcast. 

Born in north London to a Punjabi father and a mother from the midlands, AMiR has always had a burning passion for music. Since the tender age of two, AMiR has been an all-out music obsessive.

Spending his formative years learning guitar, piano and drums, AMiR has worked to become the complete musician. His songwriting talents have led to opportunities to work with Grammy award-winning producers in the United States and Europe, including Peter and Daniel (Matoma, Galantis, DFA) and Patrick Patrikios (Little Mix).

Joining AMiR are Sirkett & Leroy Select who run the record label and music collective LoveTime Guarantee alongside friend of the pod Lloyd Taylor. 

Both have been DJing and running club nights since they met our Founder Freddie Cocker at university. 

We can't wait to welcome them all to Just Checking In Live.
