Lucy English is a spoken word poet and novelist. She has two poetry collections published by Burning Eye: Prayer to Imperfection 2014 and The Book of Hours 2018. She is the creator of the acclaimed project also called The Book of Hours which contains the poetry from the collection made into poetry films eitj 27 international collaborators. Films from this project have been screened at over 30 short film festivals and won awards. The Book of Hours was shortlisted for the New Media Writing prize in 2019 and is one of the digital art works held in the British Library.
She is currently working on a new collection on climate change and environmental pollution.
Lucy is Professor of Creative Enterprise at Bath Spa University and co-director of Lyra Bristol Poetry Festival

Jason Conway is a professional daydreamer, based in Stroud, Gloucestershire. Drawing inspiration from social issues, mental health and the transformative power of nature, his mission is to encourage people to make a positive difference in the world. He is a published poet, an award winning freelance creative and visual artist. Jason is a Co-Director of the Gloucestershire Poetry Society and Founder of indie arts magazine ‘Steel Jackdaw’. He’s headlined at the Gloucestershire Poetry Festival and Swindon’s Rusty Goat Poetry Corner and performed at the 2000 Trees and The Space In-Between Festivals. He is published in Poetry Undressed, The Blue Nib, Poetry Bus, The Poetry Village and Impspired magazines. Jason is currently studying an MA in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University. He is an Arts Council funded poet, commissioned for the 2022 Stoke-on-Trent Neurodiversity Festival and the Stoke City Centre BID.
