the Looe to Quiberon Virtual Swim

As it has not been possible to run the Looe Island wild water swim this year, Looe Valley Rotary Club, in partnership with The Chestnut Appeal, is running a virtual swim sponsored event to raise badly needed funds.

The event is open to all, regardless of whether registered for the 2020 Looe Island Swim (those who have registered will automatically have their entry deferred to 2021 and entry into the virtual swim will not affect this).

the Looe to Quiberon swim is £10 to enter of which £3 will go towards Looe Valley Rotary Charity Funds, £4 will go to the Chestnut Appeal and £3 towards the cost of the Looe to Quiberon Virtual Swim medal

The virtual swim will start at Looe beach on 1st September and the aim is to get 'Sammy the fish' to Quiberon (Looe's twin town) based on the efforts of all participants. The distance is 250 miles around 400km.

,Sammy the fish will be leaving East Looe Beach , and brush past Looe Island beach on the way out.
