Plant ID Walk and Chalk

Aug 14, 2020 at 17:00 — 19:00 (BST)

For CAMP members (free), limited to 8 places.

A final sharing event after Carmen Wong's residency period will feature an urban plant identification and chalking walk with Tess Wilmot around Leadworks.

We'll be listening out for plant beings that play an important role in our food ecologies (with a bit of foraging on the side).

We will meet at Leadworks at 5pm, walk and chalk for about 2 hours (with social distancing guidelines) around Stonehouse, with stops by Adelaide Park and adjacent areas. And then reconvening at Leadworks to learn more about JARSQUAD - a project exploring circular economy economies, surplus/waste, and communal abundance through collective acts of food preservation. JARSQUAD is co-animated by Carmen, Tess, and Rachel Dobbs.

Please bring a mask when we're indoors, and a notebook.

Chalk and post-walk refreshments will be provided and baskets will be loaned.

In the event of rain, the event will be rescheduled and registrants will be informed.
