Carole Bromley is a York based poet who writes for both adults and children. For many years a creative writing tutor at York University, she now tutors for Arvon and the Poetry Society.

Carole has three books with Smith/Doorstop, A Guided Tour of the Ice House, The Stonegate Devil and Blast Off! (For children). She also has a recent pamphlet, Sodium 136, with Calder Valley and a new collection, The Peregrine Falcons of York Minster,  due out from Valley Press this September. She has performed and run workshops at many festivals and won prizes including the Bridport Prize for Poetry and the 2019 Hamish Canham Award.
