Understanding Coercive Control Training

About this Event

The Haven Wolverhampton is pleased to introduce Understanding Coercive Controlling Behaviour Training. The training is a 3 hour session designed to increase professionals' awareness of Coervive Control.

This training will enable attendees to:

•Identify what the term ‘coercive control’ means.

•Recognize signs and how to ask the, ‘question’.

• Indicate examples of evidence and where the offence applies.

•Locate support that is available for anyone who is experiencing ‘coercive control’.

 These training courses are intended for professionals, or those who have an interest in the topic of domestic abuse and its effects.

Our trainer has over 25 years of experience in working with women who have experienced abuse and holds a PGCE (Professional Graduate Certificate in Education) qualification.
