Break out the Tinsel Christmas is upon us!

After over a year now of West End Sessions, Daniel is thrilled to be closing the year with a Christmas Special @ Scarlett Green.

It will be a sumptuous treat for all the senses and a celebration of all things "Auzzie" as Daniel brings fellow Australians Phoebe Panaretos and Alex Gibson-Giorgo to the Scarlett Green stage.

Phoebe made international headlines after being handpicked by Baz Lurhman to play the lead role of Fran in the world premiere musical adaptation Strictly Ballroom The Musical for which she was nominated for both a Helpmann and Green Room Award for Best Female In A Musical for her portrayal of Fran. Phoebe’s theatre credits include The Production Company’s Singing in the Rain, the world premiere of Dream Lover - The Bobby Darin Musical directed by Simon Philips for the Gordon Frost Organisation  in which she played the role of Connie Francis.

Phoebe made her professional debut in Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Oliver! when she was just 11, Phoebe went on to become a Musical Theatre graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts

Alex graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre), where he performed the roles of Judd Fry in Oklahoma!, Harold Slocum in Summer Rain, and in his graduating year Arthur in James Millar and Peter Rutherford’s A Little Touch of Chaos (dir. Iain Sinclair) and Marryin’ Sam in Lil’ Abner (dir. Martin Croft).

Prior, Alex attended Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and is a graduate of the NIDA Diploma of Music Theatre course.

Alex is the 2014 recipient of the Ron and Margaret Dobell Award. In 2015, Alex made his professional debut as part of the ensemble for Opera Australia’s Anything Goes, and in 2016 Alex performed on stage in Georgy Girl – The Seekers Musical.
