Celebrating the life of Queen Victoria – Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and Empress of India. Starting on the 24th May - 31st July 2019. The 200th anniversary of her birth. Royal Windsor Tours will be hosting this special 90 minute walk.

On this walk you will get to know what Queen Victoria was like, her marriage to Prince Albert and their devoted love for each other, the Great Exhibition of 1851 and much more. We will also look at what Victorian life was like, the social and industrial issues of the day. Victoria’s loss of her Consort Prince Albert that emotionally marked her as the ‘Widow of Windsor’.

We will also look at controversial issues in the Royal household that made Victoria’s life interesting and special.

On this walk we will also talk about other Monarchs and their relationship with Windsor. The Royal Guard, the Long Walk and Queen Victoria and Albert’s Resting Place.

Assemble by the black information screen on the corner of the Tower Brasserie, Jubilee Arch, Windsor. Watch out for a man wearing a bowler hat.
