The 2006 vintage has offered us the perfect opportunity to really see the essence of each wine. The late summer conditions of warm days and cool nights produced wines that are not masked by overt vintage characteristics. Instead the vineyards, grape varieties and winemakers skill combined to create textbook examples of these wines.
