The Great Chestnut Walk

Please do join us on a 5km walk around the fantastic Burrator Reservoir and help the Chestnut Appeal celebrate 20 years .  

Burrator Reservoir offers a unique day out for families, nature enthusiasts, historians and Dartmoor lovers alike.

The Walk will take place on Sunday 14th April with a start of 11am and is all on road.  the start and end of the walk will be at the Burrator Education Centre.

We chose this walk at it's beautiful, stunning in fact, is 5km and is accessible for most abilities, well behaved dogs (on leads) can come along too.  So why not bring the whole family. 

If possible please can walkers car share.  The cost of entry is £10.00 and includes a limited edition charity t-shirt and a drink.

The reservoir is bursting with wildlife and colour.  Birds including the Nuthatch, Robin, Great Tit and Blue Tit. and flora including Bluebells, daffodils, primroses, ferns and Welsh poppies.
