The third concert in MusicFor's second series, Music for a Winter's Eve. Come, grab a glass of mulled wine, a mince pie or several, and spend an hour listening to some fantastic choral music and carols, sung by eight world-class singers. The music ranges from evocatve sacred choral settings through the centuries to close-harmony Christmas favourites. The singers are directed by Daniel Collins, a member of the internationally-renowned ensemble The Sixteen.
MusicFor is a new concert series aimed at giving young musicians performance opportunities. It is currently based at Holy Trinity, Stroud Green, and the first series "Music for an Autumn Evening" consists of four concerts, each involving exceptionally talented young musicians. Each of our performers is a recent graduate, or still at, music college or university, and are on the verge of breaking into the country's top orchestras, choir and chamber ensembles.
