Music for a Winter's Eve: Wond'rous machine - an evening of organ music.

Nov 29, 2018 at 20:00 — 21:00 (GMT)
Organiser: MusicFor

The second concert in MusicFor's second series, Music for a Winter's Eve. Young and talented organist Andrej Ivanovic, current organ scholar at St. Peter's College, Oxford, gives an organ recital on the 2 manual Bishop & Sons organ in Holy Trinity Church. The organ was moved there from St. Andrew's, Southgate, after bomb damage in World War II destroyed the original instrument.

MusicFor is a new concert series aimed at giving young musicians performance opportunities. It is currently based at Holy Trinity, Stroud Green, and the first series "Music for an Autumn Evening"  consists of four concerts, each involving exceptionally talented young musicians. Each of our performers is a recent graduate, or still at, music college or university, and are on the verge of breaking into the country's top orchestras, choir and chamber ensembles. The Artistic Director is Daniel Collins, a member of the internationally renowned choir The Sixteen. Please see http://www.musicfor.co.uk for more details.
