To celebrate our cultural links to other EU countries, every month this year Cardiff For Europe are hosting a meal and Social Evening to honour the country having a National Day in that Month. So far we’ve celebrated Lithuania and Ireland and both evenings were enjoyed by those who attended. On June 10th between 19:30 and 21:30 we plan a Meal and Social Evening to celebrate Portugal on it’s National Day.

The itinerary for the evening will be as follows:

1. Welcome address (7:30pm).

2. Main Course with three options, Portuguese feijoada trasmontana (a based ham hock dish) or Arroz de Marisco (seafood rice) or a vegetarian option.

3. Dessert of either  Pasteis de nata (custard tarts) or Pao de Lo (Portuguese sponge cake) with custard or ice cream.

4. A toast to the people of Portugal using the Portuguese national drink (Port or a non-alcoloholic option of Ginjinha (a cherry liqueur)

Tickets are £10 (Full Rate) & £5 (Students)
