GDPR Compliance Crash Course

The up-coming General Data Protection Regulations are causing quite a stir, not least because they are complex and vague and virtually everything you read about them is produced by someone trying to sell you a product that may or may not be helpful. The GDPR Compliance Crash Course de-mystifies the regulation by turning it into a hands-on learning experience with far more answers than questions.

This course is not ‘about’ GDPR, there are a million courses telling you ‘about’ it, but let’s face it, most of us already know ‘about’ it having been bombarded from all angles for months on end. This is a practical, get-your-hands-dirty, real-life training session that explains exactly what you need to do in plain, simple English in order to comply with the regulation. We go through your individual real-life scenarios and actually start to draw up the action plan and documentation relevant to your business, on the spot, ensuring that you really understand the steps you must take and how to take them.

This section will help delegates to understand why the regulation came about, who is in the firing line and how you can maintain a solid relationship with customers, stakeholders and the Information Commissioner.

1.30 Part 2 – The road to compliance:- The nitty gritty of actually producing the systems and documentary evidence required in order to ensure your own compliance. In this section we show you exactly what you need to produce and how it should be used to shape your business in a positive and successful way.
