Feb 24, 2023 at 18:30 — 19:30 (GMT)

Celebrate the end of the week with a pre-dinner (6.30pm) or post-dinner (9pm) performance of Chopin, complete with a complimentary champagne reception!

Few things are more magical than hearing the world’s most breath-taking classical music being performed live by a brilliant concert pianist in beautiful surroundings, by the flicker of candlelight with a glass of champagne in hand. This experience comes to life at the 1901 Arts Club when it plays host to a programme of Chopin’s most virtuosic and romantic music.

Concert pianist, Warren Mailley-Smith recently became the first British pianist to perform the complete works of Chopin in one series of concerts, from memory.  He continues his successful monthly series at the exclusive 1901 Arts Club from October 2021 with another 8 programmes of Chopin's greatest masterpieces.

Note - the complimentary Champagne is served from 30mins before the start of the concert.

Twenty-four Preludes op.28

The brilliant piano music of the great Frederic Chopin has never been out of fashion since it first burst onto the international scene in the early 19th century. This music wasn’t intended for the great concert halls of today, but for the intimate setting of Parisian and London Salons of the aristocracy. This was the setting where Chopin felt most at ease and improvised many of his works for the first time. Forget your busy week and treat yourself to an evening of relaxing and invigorating classical music performed with charm and humour by one of the UK’s most brilliant musicians.

Tall and talented, Warren Mailley-Smith is the embodiment of a modern romantic concert pianist…” – Musical Opinion
