Welding Class: The Plant Stand

This one-day course will introduce you to the basics of MMA (Stick) welding, This is one of the oldest and most common forms of welding metal. The day includes material preparation, cutting and preparing metal. Useful skills for MMA welding.

Prep material using the metal saw and angle grinder, then use the welders to tack up your stand to run welds. Learn about how the machines are set up and work, the penetration of heat and general fabrication and finishing techniques.

By the end of the day you assemble a stylish plant stand fit for any modern home. This course is perfect for beginners or anyone keen learn about basic welding.

The day will be led by Richard Evans, an experienced metal fabricator and designer. All materials required for this course are included in the price.
