The Gloucestershire Poetry Society presents our regular online event in 2022, 'Crafty Crows', hosted by Josephine Lay.

Tish Ince Poet

Tish Ince; London-born Trinidadian, Irish feminist, published poet based in San Francisco. Nominated for Gloucestershire Poet Laureate (2019), she also won a Paper Nations Award as Marginalised Writer (South West) in 2020. She has been recently compared to artist Kae Tempest and poet, Langston Hughes. She is a passionate and impassioned Black conscious poet and brings a modern lick to her take on fighting against racism and oppression. She writes page, performance and video poetry with musical spoken word in the US and performs in San Francisco and globally.

Dane Ince

Dane Ince travelled from his Texas place of birth  to Berkeley, California to study art.  He resides sheltering in place in San Francisco. William S. Burroughs and South American writer Jorge Luis Borges are some of his favourites.  He is on the Beat-dada spectrum between Marcel Duchamp and Andrew Goldsworthy.
