The 2022 Cawsand swim will take place on Sunday 10th July with a swim time of around 8.30-9am

There are two distances;  2km and 4km.  please make sure you choose the distance you wish to swim when registering.

The 2km swim will see swimmers set off from the beach at Cawsand and swim along the Bay to Kingsand, to the Mermaid Buoy, to a 1km marker buoy and back inside the swim buoys.  The 4km swim will follow the same route but swim a further 1km along the coastline to Hooe Lake Point and back.  

Registration for the Cawsand Swim is £30 for the 2km swim and £40 for the 4km swim . Your entry fee covers the cost of organising the event, but it’s the money you raise that helps Prostate Cancer patients and their families across Devon and Cornwall.

So we ask all our swimmers set themselves a Sponsorship target of at least £50.

Next year the Chestnut Appeal aims to; Launch 'The Centre of Excellence' to make a bigger, brighter and more serviceable department at Derriford Hospital.
To carry out PSA Testing events, with thousands of cases possibly missed due to the pandemic the more men we can test the better.
and to head up awareness campaigns for all three cancers we support, which are Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer and the little talked about Penile Cancer.
