Talk - Jody Mulvey - SADGRADS

Apr 29, 2021 at 18:30 — 20:15 (BST)

Jody Mulvey (she/her) is an artist and facilitator based in Scotland. As founder of @sadgrads2020, she has built a community platform for UK art school graduates who had their degree shows cancelled due to COVID-19.

For this latest CAMP talk around notions of resilience and radical care, Jody will discuss her journey since graduating; expanding on her experiences building SAD GRADS 2020 and being involved in student-led projects. At the heart of these discussions will be the importance of community and how this has helped her and her peers transition into the creative industry within the context of the ongoing pandemic.

ABOUT JODY
Jody continues to collaborate nationally, with organisations such as Creative Lives in Progress, to address the issues presented to graduates transitioning into industry within the context of the ongoing pandemic. The platform has been featured on Dazed (by The White Pube), The Elephant Mag and 10 Magazine and was also nominated for two Creative Edinburgh awards for its impact on the arts.
