Scotland is made for trees - The need for greater land availability, more seedlings and less weevils

Oct 27, 2020 at 16:00 — 17:00 (GMT)
Organiser: Confor

The Scottish Forest & Timber Technologies autumn meetings will be delivered remotely this year – we will all miss the social side of these well received gatherings, but we have an interesting set of presentations lined up.  The usual updates from your local Conservators, from the Industry Leadership Group and from Confor will be circulated before the events to those who’ve registered to attend, and there will be time for any questions during the meetings.

The central Scotland SFTT webinar will feature presentations on:

  • Regional land use partnerships – Harriet Donald, Scottish Land Commission
  • Optimising the seed resource, and minimising weevil damage - Josh Roberts, Forestry & Land Scotland
  • Update on welfare and general H&S – Gillian Clark, FISA
  • Hosted by Raymond Henderson, SFTT chair for Central Scotland

Login details for this webinar will be e-mailed to attendees on the day of the webinar.
