Print the Streets

Sep 26, 2020 at 10:00 — 15:00 (BST)

Print the Streets is a socially distanced, walking printmaking workshop. Using Takuhon, a Japanese press free printmaking technique. The session will explore the Stonehouse area of Plymouth through the coal holes, paving slabs and street markings.

We begin the day with takuhon examples and demos. Tampo making (you need these to print with) and a bit of takuhon practice before hitting the streets in search of over looked gems under our feet.

Meet at the event space at Ocean Studios. All equipment and materials provided for you to use and take away with you. Please bring a cushion to kneel on and wear suitable clothing.

We’ll have a lunch break between 12noon and 1pm - please bring a pack lunch and drink.
