Orienteering

Feb 28, 2020 at 14:00 — 17:00 (GMT)
Organiser: Yarnwhispering

Charlie Markwick is a storyteller and poet he lives in Gloucester.

Join him as he relives his journey. Listen as he navigates the challenges of caring for his wife, who had Dementia. Be there as he charts his first halting steps into a new world of grief and loss.

You can expect to find sadness as you accompany him, but you may well stumble across smiles and joy too.

So many of us will experience dementia close at hand in our lives. If you are caring for a loved one, or have friends or family doing this then Orienteering will offer you insights and strategies that will help you understand the challenge.

There will be a chance to share your thoughts and observations and ask questions after the performance.

Cardboard Citizens have generously made their space available for this performance. Find more out about what this amazing organisation does at www.cardboardcitizens.org.uk
