The Haven Wolverhampton is pleased to introduce Rape and Sexual Abuse Training. The training is a 3 hour session designed to increase professionals' awareness of the topic and how to respond and support survivors. 

 This training will enable attendees to:

•Examine the Rape and Sexual violence (definitions and terminology)

•Identify the impact and effects on survivors

•Identify how to respond and support survivors

•Distinguish the myths and attitudes that perpetuate sexual violence

•Locate specialist services and know how to refer survivors

 These training courses are intended for professionals, or those who have an interest in the topic of domestic abuse and its effects.

Our trainer has over 25 years of experience in working with women who have experienced abuse and holds a PGCE (Professional Graduate Certificate in Education) qualification.
