Siemens factory tour

There will be a Siemens factory tour in South Sacramento.  In case you we're aware of it, Siemens builds electric rail bound transit vehicles for the North American market in their solar powered plant in Sacramento.

This is an extensive tour with quite a bit of walking, much of it outside,; about 1.5 miles. Much of it is on uneven surfaces with industrial traffic.
Siemens will provide safety glasses and hearing protection. WIRED Magazine did a short video on the plant a couple of years ago
