Join us for the official launch party of this year’s Simmer Down Festival. Taking place at the Night Owl, we have assembled an impressive line-up of artists including Tippa Irie backed by the Friendly Fire Band, Plus the sensational Tenna Star alongside Amy G, A Doubles, Ashley Zeal, Libra, Candice and Relley C. Music on the night supplied by Tony Roots from Newstyle Radio - your host and compere is Ranking from the ‘Gatecrash Legends of Legends’ family.

Expect a night of pure roots reggae party vibes to nice up the dance and lead the way to the 2019 Simmer Down Festival.

Simmer Down Festival is one of UK biggest FREE family reggae music and arts festivals. Taking place in Handsworth Park on Sunday 21st July, Jamaica’s legendary reggae artists Johnny Clarke and Horace Andy will be headlining plus the homecoming of Birmingham’s legend Pato Banton alongside an array of Birmingham artists.
