All in this Together: A Celebration of Co-production and Involvement in Wales. An annual conference organised by the Co-production Network for Wales.

Doors open at 9am for registration, refreshments and networking.

 There is ever-growing evidence that when citizens and professionals work in partnership services are improved and better meet people’s needs. In the current landscape of dwindling resources and increasing demand, co-production and involvement offer a compelling approach to bringing positive, sustainable change to public services and communities. The legislative context in Wales is increasingly directing organisations towards this way of working, particularly through the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014 and the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.

You are warmly invited to join us for our annual conference, the key event for the co-production and involvement community in Wales. It is an opportunity to:

  • Connect with leading policy and decision makers, professionals and researchers.

  • Share in good practice approaches being applied in Wales and further afield.

  • Gain clear, practical advice on how to implement co-production and involvement approaches and make them work.

  • Contribute to Wales' growing reputation as a flag bearer for co-production and involvement on the international stage.

The day will include an inspirational keynote grounded in the everyday reality of public services; lightning talks from a diverse range of speakers sharing their practice and learning; the opportunity to explore their topics in depth during workshop sessions; space to build connections, advance research into the effectiveness of co-production, and share your stories, experience and learning with fellow attendees; a showcase of the Wales network itself: past, present and future; alongside time to network and visit our sponsors’ stands.

This year we will welcome:

  • Mair Rigby (Wales Council for Voluntary Action) on Inspiring Impact and demonstrating the difference you make;

  • Mike Corcoran (for the Co-production Network for Wales) on Measuring What Matters and asking the right questions, of the right people, in the right way;

  • Morwenna Fodden (Co:Create Sheffield) on the trials and tribulations of co-producing health and social care commissioning - also (breaking news) the inception of the England Co-production Network!

  • Huw Davies (Age Cymru and Golden Thread Advocacy Programme) on co-producing an advocacy framework and range of services;

  • Rae Baker (Natural Resources Wales) on making co-production business as usual in a piece of work building ecosystem resilience;

  • Kate Hamilton (Renew Wales) on creating co-production and involvement when you begin with engaged citizens and community-led initiatives.

This will be an opportunity to explore areas of relevance to you around co-production and involvement, and connect with other people from a wide range of sectors and backgrounds who are collectively striving towards a common vision: that of a fairer and more sustainable Wales where everyone had a voice.
