Outlander Literary Evening with Diana Gabaldon

Publishing Scotland together with VisitScotland, and in association with United Airlines, will be hosting an exclusive literary event with Outlander writer Diana Gabaldon on Friday 15th March in the sumptuous surroundings of Hopetoun House near Edinburgh. 

The elegant Red Drawing Room will provide the perfect setting for this intimate evening, not only for its charm and comfort, but it was also the exact location of a number of scenes which featured in Series 1 of the TV production.

The chair for the evening will be James Crawford, chair of Publishing Scotland, author and presenter of BBC TV series Scotland From The Sky. Guests will have the opportunity to hear from Diana about her novels and their transfer to screen, as well as take part in a Q&A session.

Hopetoun House will be open exclusively to ticket holders for self-guided tours, photo opportunities and light refreshments prior to the literary event.

Complimentary parking is available at Hopetoun House, South Queensferry, Edinburgh.

For Sat Nav please use EH30 9RW which will take you into South Queensferry to Farquhar Terrace. From here you will be able to follow the brown signs to Hopetoun House and it is a straight road from this point.
