This is the first wind quintet to join the Concerts in the West rosta. The group, named after the famous Holmes adversary, met as postgraduate students at the Royal Academy of Music, where they were Chamber Fellows.
MORIARTY WINDS enjoy performing repertoire ranging from Classical to contemporary. Individually they have won many awards and perform with the major UK orchestras.
Doors open at 6.45pm.
Seating is unreserved - choose your seat when you arrive.
There is a disabled ramp, but some of the church path is quite rough.
Directions: from A30 West take right turn marked Hardington and Pendomer 3 miles East of Crewkerne, 2nd right marked Pendomer, (just after cross roads), 1st right at junction after about 1 mile, marked Pendomer, right again at bottom of hill, no through road to Pendomer. From A30 East - Left at White Post crossroads by garage, 1st left through North Coker, right after school, 1st left at cross roads, left again after about half mile down to Pendomer and right into the through road. A decent sat nav should find it.
