About our speakers...

Soo Brizell, Head of Strategic Partnerships and Contracts - Shekinah
Shekinah is a Devon and Cornwall based charity that provides opportunities for people in recovery, or seeking recovery. This may include recovery homelessness, drug and alcohol issues, offending behaviour or mental ill health.

Abigail Netcott, Commercial Manager -  Mayflower 400
2020 marks the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower’s voyage, one of the most influential journey’s in global history. Plymouth leads a partnership of 11 locations across the UK, Holland and US in driving a year-long programme of commemorative activity around the core values of Freedom, Humanity, Imagination & Future.
The programme aims to showcase Plymouth, Britain’s Ocean City on a national and international stage, increase pride in living and being from the City and drive resident engagement.

Sarah Carlsen-Browne, Manager - Pathfinder
Pathfinder aims to reduce the number of victims, the level of harm inflicted on individuals and the levels of reoffending by offering early intervention for individuals who are both first time entrants into the criminal justice system and those who have a history of low level offences. The Pathfinder approach is not to make excuses for offenders but to provide suitable early intervention through co-ordinated partnership and third-sector approach to help those at the start of the offending curve to address their problems, with the ultimate aim of reducing levels of reoffending.
