  • Pre-dinner drinks will be served from 7.00pm. Complimentary wines will be served during the meal.

We’re delighted that Emma Howard Boyd, Chair of the Environment Agency, will be our guest speaker at this year’s black-tie event. 

Emma has spent her 25 year career working in financial services, initially in corporate finance, and then in fund management, specialising in sustainable investment and corporate governance. As Director of Stewardship at Jupiter Asset Management until July 2014, Emma was integral to the development of their reputation in the corporate governance and sustainability fields.

Emma is currently Chair of the Environment Agency and serves on various boards and advisory committees including; Green Finance Taskforce (Member), ShareAction (Chair of Trustees), Menhaden Capital PLC, the Aldersgate Group, the 30% Club and the Executive Board of The Prince’s Accounting for Sustainability Project.

Individual tickets for SWBC members are priced at £75. Those member organisations wishing to book tables of 10 can do so at a discounted rate of £650. If you wish to be invoiced for group bookings, then please get in touch with us directly.

There is a concessionary accommodation rate (£79 single occupancy / £89 including breakfast) at Woodbury Park for SWBC members attending the Annual Dinner.  There is limited room availability on a single or double occupancy basis, and also a Lodge that can accommodate 4-8 people. A prize draw will be held during the evening, in support of Dame Hannah Rogers Charity, SWBC's nominated charity for 2018.

The evening will commence at 7.00pm with a complimentary drinks reception, generously supported by Quick Gin, Frobishers and Luscombe.

A half bottle of wine per person, included in the ticket price, will be served with the meal commencing at 7.30pm.

Starter

  • Good game meat plate, house pickles & pork rillette
  • Vulscombe Devon goats cheese (v) heritage beetroot, deep-fried walnuts and apple

Main

  • Local free range chicken “Kiev”, potato terrine, Dawlish mushrooms, roast chicken sauce
  • Baked hake, barbecue leek, Sandford Orchards cider and River Exe mussels
  • Local squash agnolotti (v), toasted nuts & seeds, crispy kale and brown butter

Dessert

  • Baked custard, pear with crumble dust, cinnamon doughnut
  • Quicke’s Cheddar, apple profiterole, pickled celery
