When Daisies Talk By Mica Montana

A series of poems that explore identity, spirituality, mental health, diagnosis, healing and the transformational potential of depressive and psychotic episodes. The poet is a young psychologist at the forefront of her career who through her own lived experiences, learnt that sometimes those experiences we call 'break downs' are necessary for the 'breaking through' of self and soul.

Moment(o)s by Elaine Paton – Play

‘Mentally cracking up, the self you know fractures, rupturing the ground you stand on.   Inexpressible interior sensations, hidden from the outside eye, lurk beneath the surface, threatening to engulf any of us at any time.’
Moment(o)s, in the tradition of Cabaret, exposes the hidden, challenges the status quo and revels in celebrating the socially unacceptable in a subversive romp through the vicissitudesof mental breakdown. Based on Elaine’s autobiographical experiences, this production will be a combination of film and live performance. www.elainepaton.org

After show Q&A, with Elaine Paton and Caroline Jones, Production Designer, about the process of making Moment(o)s  and the importance of challenging the stigma surrounding mental distress.
Facilitated by Malcolm Stern, therapist and director of Alternatives, St James Church, Piccadilly.
